So my awesome husband totally surprised me! He saw a sign and woke me up and said “Hey didn’t you want to go to the Precious Moments Chapel?” I was so surprised!  I forgot where we were and that the chapel was close to where we were going.  I almost screamed in excitement!

If you know me, I have a huge collection of Precious Moments!  I started collecting Precious Moments before our wedding because I loved them so much!  Now any time my mom sees one on sale she buys it for me.  So back to the excitement…

When we got there I was thinking I wouldn’t have any time to go inside.  I had about 30 mins to go through the shop.  Let me tell you I was in heaven!  There was a little set up in the main building, a little village with Precious Moment dolls all around.  Some were reading the paper, some were doing work in the village, one was a painter and some were even having a tea party.

I went in the shop and took so many pictures. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to buy.  I ended up getting a small calendar, and a Snow White porcelain  figurine. My oldest son bought me an oversized shirt that I wear as a nightgown. He was determined to buy me something so I had to agree.  He is such a sweet boy.

I knew they had to close but I wanted to go to the garden really quick and take pictures.  They told me I could go but the shop would be closed.  I actually ran as fast as I could to make sure not to take up any more of their time.  (Apparently they still waited for me to be done.)  I got to go through the garden, and also got to see the outside of the chapel.  I am a little sad that I didn’t get to go inside the chapel because I have been told by my best friend that it is so beautiful. She said you will just want to stay in there.  I believe it because everything else was beautiful.

I do plan on going back so I can take my time and also see the inside of the chapel.  This was an amazing stop for me!
