I guess I haven’t been inside a McDonald’s in a long time because they have really changed. Yesterday I went in to ask if they still had super Mario toys with the intention of buying the ones we didn’t already get in happy meals (I’m that mom😅) We got Mario, Peach, Bowser and Donkey Kong but they didn’t have Luigi and Toad😭So I waited a few moments for someone to realize I was standing at the register. As I was leaving, I noticed a middle aged man come in, walk straight to these computers to the side of the room that I hadn’t even noticed, and then proceeded to order from a touch screen. A mother with two small boys came in and did the same thing. Nobody said a word, not a hello or greeting, they didn’t even make eye contact. All of a sudden I felt like *I* was out of place… Like, was I weird for giving a human my order? It felt like I was in a room full of robots 😳 Strange times were living in… Anyone else have an experience like this lately? Did you get any Super Mario happy meals? If so, who’d you get? We’re excited for the movie 😁❤️
