During church Sunday, I was watching a mom in front of me with one of her boys. We were singing a hymn, and she was pointing out where we were in the song. Word by word as the song went on. It hit me in the feels.

I remember when I did the same thing with each of my kids. Holding the hymn book and going word by word, pointing, and singing. You don’t realize how just a simple thing like that can hit you right in the feels and make you so emotional but at the same time happy.

I looked over at my kids and watched them as they held their own hymn book singing. My heart was full of joy! It’s just a simple little thing that brings me happiness.
