One simple flower that brings back so many memories. This picture was taken at one of our church’s buildings.

This flower reminds me of my Great Uncle Newton❤️ He was by far my favorite person in the world. He passed away when I was almost 10. These flowers bloomed by the dozens at his house!

It made me think of covering his feet with sand, my mountain (which was just a little hill in the grass), jumping over a bush, watching wrestling, eating cookie crisp & Honeycombs, sweet tea, ice cold water and just the amount of love that you couldn’t believe could come from one person!

My heart is happy from those precious memories ❤️ I hope he looks down on me from Heaven and is proud of the person I have become!
