I never thought I would be a sports mom. But here I am being a Baseball Mom and loving it! I was never a sports fan growing up. I played basketball for fun but that was it. I don’t have a favorite sports team and neither does my husband.

Our oldest two kids played soccer for a few years, but they didn’t have a huge interest in it. Our youngest though is pretty hard core into baseball. He started off not knowing a thing and this fall, he has rocked it! He asked his coach if he could learn to catch, which he had never done before. When he was practicing his coach asked him if he was sure he hadn’t caught before. He said, no, that it was his first time. His coach was surprised.

So he has pitched, played as catcher and played pretty much every position. It has been fun to see him grow into this sport. He also will take his time to try and teach other little kids from church how to play. Because he is so excited about it I think he has made others excited and now they want to play. So very proud of this boy!
