The Van Gogh Experience was a great place for a date night!  We went with another couple that we have been friends with for a while.  First we got some tacos and then we went to see the wonderful experience.

So Van Gogh has been my favorite artist since I was in highschool. (Holy crud that was 27 Years ago!) The colors he uses and his technique have always gotten me right in my heart and soul! He was such a brilliant man, but no one appreciated him until he passed. Unfortunately that seems to be the case for the most brilliant minds and talented people out there.

The experience was amazing!  There were copies of his paintings throughout the building. There were photos that you could place yourself in. Then there was the room where his paintings came alive and moved!  I was so amazed I teared up a few times. It was so beautiful!

Somethings I didn’t know about Van Gogh and I am wondering if you all knew?  Did you know he painted trains?  My friend and I had no clue and each book we have of his there are no train paintings.  Have you ever seen him without a beard?  I think this was a first for me.  It is in one of the photos I posted.  Did you know he was might have been colored blind?  I think that is still speculation but just wow!
