23 years of marriage down!  Here’s to many, many more!  Our go to for our anniversary when we don’t do a big trip is to Williamsburg because that is a close drive for us.  So we like to wander around and explore even though we have been a lot of times there.

Sometimes we go shopping…I am not much on shopping but I do have one store that is my favorite.  I will have to do a review on that one sometime.  It is called Perfectly Natural Soap. I get soap, lotion, and essential oils from there!

With our anniversary being in January we don’t go outside but so much because it is usually really cold.  This time we had one warm day and we decided we would go play disc golf.  If you haven’t heard of that it is like golf but you throw a frisbee into a chained net.  It is more than just a regular frisbee, I will have to do a seperate post on disc golf too because it is a lot of fun…although you do say “Da** tree.” a lot!

For dinner one night we went to Longhorn Steakhouse!  Oh so yummy!  The girl who was our waitress was so sweet.  She asked us if there was anything we were celebrating?  We told her our anniversary!  She ended up bringing us an ice-cream for dessert! Chris had her guess how many years. She said we didn’t look over 25 in age. We know she was being sweet. She guessed 4, then 15, then 11, she was all over the place guessing. I was like more than 15! She guessed 20 I said close. It will be 23 years tomorrow! She was so surprised!  She said I am 23! I could be your kid! I said we have one who was 21! I love that we still look young!

The next night we ordered take out at Olive Garden!  It was cold and we didn’t feel like going out to the restaurant.  Just a little side note: Olive Garden is where Chris proposed to me!
