Skyline is the restaurant located rooftop at The Virginian. The night we stayed at The Virginian we just had dessert. We also just sat at the bar because it was the easiest way to get a seat.  You have to have a reservation at this place. Which we had scheduled for the next day.  Chris had an apple pie and I had coconut pie!  I have to say I though mine was better, but I love coconut!

We went back the next night for dinner.  I was more impressed with their dessert than their dinner.  We did get the coconut shrimp to start with.  That was pretty good but once you have had coconut shrimp in Hawaii, it just doesn’t do it justice. Yeah I got spoiled when we went to Hawaii.

Chris got the filet and I got the chicken. Unfortunately I have to say with this being such a hoity toity place I would expect the food to be on point or better.  I can say I have had better at most restaurants I have been to and ordered something similar. So we I go to Skyline again?  Probably not.  If they have coconut pie sure cause that was the best dessert I have had in a long time!
