Elf On The Shelf

So who does Elf on the shelf?  We started last year with ours.  Our elf is not the creepy little elf that everyone has.  Sorry if you guys have the creepy little one.  Well he is creepy to me lol.  The elf that I got was cheaper than the one that everyone has.  I got him from Amazon for $23.00.  His name is Christopher Pop-In-Kins.  We love him!  He is so cute!  So on Thursdasy I am going to post where our elf has been hiding.

A little back story about our elf.  We decided to get him a little later than the book that comes with him says you get him.  The book says he comes after Thanksgiving.  I didn’t know about the elf on the shelf until my friends started talking about them.  I thought it was such a cute idea.  So when we got him we decided to visit Santa.  We had Santa tell the kids that he left them a early present at our house.  My husband whispered to Santa right before the kids went up and sat on his lap.  So glad he was an awesome Santa and went along with it.  When we got home the kids were thrilled to find a present on the doorstep. From then on the kids have loved every minute of having Christopher-Pop-In-Kins.

Here is where he has been hiding out so far this year…

Saying hello to us the first day!

Sneaking a piece of leftover Halloween Candy.

Waving hi

Feeling a little under the weather.

Hiding in Gma’s breakable cabinet.

Reading a fuzzy bear book.

  1. I am just learning about these this year! I have to admit, I am a bit intrigued by them and I think my kids would adore this but I am a little creeped out as well by the traditional one. Maybe I will have to find our own version like you did!
